Fall 2022 Season
This league shall consist 20+ teams of 2 bowlers. Each bowler must pay the fee of $25 per night. Of this $13.20 is for lineage and $0.50 for Secretary and $11.30 will be deposited into the prize fund. This is not a sanctioned USBC League, but the rules followed will be in accordance with the League Code of Conduct (below) and the USBC rules and regulations.

USBC CERTIFICATION
The Tuesday Doubles will be sanctioned with the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) through its local association. All bowlers, including substitutes, must be 18 years of age or older and must be a current (2021-2022) USBC Member.
USBC MEMBERSHIP
All bowlers and substitutes must be current (2021-2022) USBC members. For those who are not USBC members or his/her membership expired will need to join or renew membership directly through bowl.com and pay the $24 USBC membership fees. Upon completion, USBC member ID will be given to new members. All Bowlers MUST complete the membership and provide the member ID to the Secretary before the third week (5/10) after joining the league. Any team using a player who has not paid appropriate membership dues subjects the games in which the bowler participated to forfeiture.

There are two significant rules changes will impact our league this season.
1. Starting this season, only a dry towel may be used to clean your balls during competition. No rosin or foreign substance, including cleaners previously approved during
competition, may be used.
2. Equipment specifications. No balance holes are permitted. All holes drilled must be used for gripping purposes
on every delivery. No more than three ounces of weight on any halves of the ball. Games are subject to
forfeiture if a ball that does not meet specifications is used.
MATCHES
This league will start on January 4th, 2022 and bowl for 15 weeks. Practice will start at 8:50 p.m. , with matches commencing at 9:00 p.m.
LEAGUE FEE
Each team captain shall be responsible for the team's league fees of $50 each night. Only cash and checks will be accepted for league fees. Zelle and Venmo will ONLY be accepted for one time Full payment. The league fees for the last two weeks shall be paid by each team before completion of the fifth week (2/1) of the schedule.
Bowlers who join the league on the second week will have one week to catch up the missed week due and the league
fees for the last two weeks shall be paid before completion of the sixth week (2/8) of the schedule.
Bowlers who join the league on the third week will have two weeks to catch up the 2 missed weeks due and the league
fees for the last two weeks shall be paid before completion of the seventh week (2/15) of the schedule.
Bowlers who join the league on the fourth week will have three weeks to catch up the 3 missed weeks due and the league fees for the last two weeks shall be paid before completion of the eighth week (2/22) of the schedule.
The whole season league fee MUST be paid in full on or before the thirteenth week (3/29). The twelfth week (3/22) is the last day accept check.
ARREARS
No bowler may be more than 2 weeks behind in payment. The team will be required to use the bowlers blind score and a sub will not be allowed until the bowlers arrears has paid all monies owed. It is the responsibility of the Team Captain to collect all arrears for their team.
TEAM ROSTERS
Team captains will submit a roster of all team members to the Secretary by the end of the first week of the schedule. Rosters will be limited to three (3) players. Any roster change must be reported to the league Secretary prior to the start of any series. No new substitutes will be allowed on position rounds or the last four (4) weeks of the league schedule, unless approved by the League officers.
Any league member on a rostered team should have the opportunity to determine among the team�????????????????????????????�???????????????????????????�??????????????????????????�?????????????????????????�????????????????????????�???????????????????????�??????????????????????�?????????????????????�????????????????????�???????????????????�??????????????????�?????????????????�????????????????�???????????????�??????????????�?????????????�????????????�???????????�??????????�?????????�????????�???????�??????�?????�????�???�??�?�¢??s members who is bowl on a given night. League officers should not be involved in this process unless the Bylaws, Code of Conduct, or League Dues is a cause of concern. In the event that League Officers must get involved, communication will be first and foremost with the Team Captain of that respective team. LEGAL LINE UP
A legal line up consists of 1 bowler
TARDINESS
Matches start promptly at 9:00 p.m. , if a bowler is not in the building prior to the start of the 5th frame they will be marked absent. The late bowler must wait until the start of the next game to join the lineup.
AVERAGES
Bowlers will use averages established in this league from the previous season (Winter 2022). Those who did not bowl this league last season will use their highest verifiable average from the previous season (2020-2021), based on a minimum of 21 games, including summer leagues. Those bowlers who do not have an established USBC average (21 or more games) from the 2020-2021 season, will establish their averages first 3 games bowled. A substitute who later becomes a regular member (or vice versa) his/her average shall be continued.
HANDICAP
Handicap will be based 90
% of 230. The handicap shall be based on the entering average until a 9-game average has been established, after which the handicap will be based on the current average. Those bowlers, and substitutes, who do not have entering averages shall have their handicap computed after the first complete 3 game series.

PRE/POST BOWL
Bowlers may pre bowl individually but must post bowl as a team. Both the secretary and the opposing team captain must be notified prior to the start of the scheduled match. Teams can only Post bowl 2 times per season. Requests for postponements must be made at least 48 hours in advance except in the case of emergencies. IN THE EVENT OF A NON-COMMUNICATED ABSENCE BY AN ENTIRE TEAM, THE GAMES WILL BE FORFEITED. All Post bowls must be completed no later than Friday on the same week or the games will be entered as forfeits. If one of the bowlers failed to show up on the day of Post bowl, the other bowler's post bowl score will still be counted. The No Show bowler's game will be forfeited. The absentee score (10 pins below average) will be used only for opposing team.
In exceptional case with sufficient cause and at least 48 hours in advance notice to the league officers, bowler may allow post bowl individually on a SET schedule with league officers approval. Opposing team captain shall be notified at the earliest possible opportunity. Fail to show up on the scheduled day of post bowl, the games will be entered as forfeits.

SUBSTITUTES
Substitutes MUST BE:

- Substitutes average on position matches must be within 10 pins (inclusive) of the bowler he/she is replacing.
UNEVEN NUMBER OF TEAMS
When a league has an uneven number of teams, the Earn the Points system is used. Teams must bowl at least the team average less ten (10) pins per player to earn points.
NEW and/or REPLACEMENT TEAMS
New teams will be accepted up to and including the fourth week of the season. Teams joining within these four weeks will be permitted to make up the missed matches and their scores will be compared to their originally scheduled opponent in determining wins and losses. Teams joining the league after the fourth week to replace a vacating team will assume the win/loss record of the vacating team.
Teams and bowlers joining the league to replace a vacating team or bowler will assume the win/loss record of the vacating team. New teams will be accepted up to and including the fourth week (5/17) of the season. Teams joining within these four weeks will be permitted to make up the missed matches and their scores will be compared to their originally scheduled opponent in determining wins and losses.
Bowlers who join the league on the second week will have one week to catch up the missed week due and the league
fees for the last two weeks shall be paid before completion of the sixth week (5/31) of the schedule.

PRIZE FUND

LOCKOUT RULE
If the first place team cannot be beat on the last position round then the matches will be reordered where second plays third, fourth plays fifth, and so on. First place will bowl with the highest team in the standings that will not move up or down.
Any rules not covered in these bylaws will go by the USBC 2020-2021 rulebook.
ROLL OFF RULE
In the final week if two teams are tie for the first place, a one (1) game roll off will be held. If tie again, extra complete tenth frame shall be bowled until the winner is determined. Other than first place, the place monies will be combined and divided, equally, between teams are tied.
WITHDRAWALS
When a team or individual withdraws from a league without a satisfactory reason, the team or individual is subject to suspension from membership through the local association. Bowlers must give two weeks written notice to both the President and Secretary and pay for those two weeks and all the arrears, if any.
BOWLERS CONDUCT
Excessive unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Unsportsmanlike conduct includes, but is not limited to: profanity; physical gestures; excessive delays in the progress of a match; unruly behavior by members and spectators that might be deemed offensive or inappropriate to other league members; and conduct that unjustly gives a negative perception of the league and bowling center.
Each member shall receive only one warning by the league officers for unsportsmanlike conduct. A second instance of unsportsmanlike conduct will result in the immediate expulsion from the league. A member who is dismissed from the league for unsportsmanlike conduct will forfeit any prize winnings for which he/she may have qualified. If the expulsion occurs in the middle of a game, a score of zero will be credited for each of the remaining frames, in accordance with USBC Rule 108b.
