Who is Eligible?

Sanctioned Full Time and Substitute League Players are eligible for our the Bowl Off Contests and Final Tournament.

Who is the sponsor?

The sponsor is the Virtual Team Captain. This event immediately follows league night in a single game winner take all event called the Invitational.

The VTC Arcade is making its debut. A history of the collection of Position Round events will be coming to the Bowl Off.

How to Enter?

Register and provide event fees to Etzel Brower prior to participating in this weekly event (cost structure below). In additional, please follow the instructions below for a more streamlined process:

How does it Work?

The weekly Bowl Off (Single Game using League Handicap) will occur for the 1st 16 weeks of our season. The winner of a Bowl Off week is eligible to complete the following week without the event fee (a $2 voucher). The idea is to have someone work to knock the current Bowl Off King or Queen. The King or Queen with the most wins for these weekly events will bypass the Stepladder Tournament Qualifier for top seed in the Stepladder Tournament.

The Bowl Off Stepladder Tournament Qualifier will be a 2 Game Seeding on Week 14 (December 13th) of the League. This will not include games bowled during the league. Details still being provided there. It will likely be a Themed Event.

The Bowl Off Stepladder Tournament will likely follow Week 18 Finals (December 20th) at a time convenient for finalists.

What is the cost?

For any player participating in the Bowl Off for the first time, the cost is $7 ($5 for registration and $2 for the 50/50 Bowl Off Fund). Subsequent Bowl Off events are $2 for registered players.

Regarding the Bowl Off Prize Fund, half ($1) goes to the Night's Winner and the other half ($1) goes to the End of Season Stepladder Prize Fund.

Players are encouraged to use their free games and Lanetalk to enter the contests. Any fees incurred as a result of not using free games will be that of the league participant.
